If you ever listen to women shopping together we often say "oh, you could just throw that on with anything!" We are, I think, usually referring to those well-loved and worn clothing items that become like a second skin and do, truly, get thrown on at a moment's notice. My own shopping strategy is more about things that are over-the-top and thrill me - but, and it's a big but - I also totally understand the sentiment and comfort of clothing to "just throw on." Which is why the shirt in today's post is perfect - because it's an intersection of the two. Thanks to plethora of details like tie straps, tassels and pastel stripes it thrills me. But, it's also a super-soft, comforting top that I will absolutely wear with anything. It is my something to "just throw on" and I'm totally okay with that!
